A Field Guide to Presbyterian Congregations: Are You a Typical Presbyterian? Are you a typical Presbyterian? How many of these statements describe you? I've been attending my current congregation for more than 5 years. I participate in a group activity in my congregation (e.g., Sunday school, prayer group, Bible study, fellowship). I serve in a leadership position in my church. I regularly give 5% or more of my income to the church. What I like best about my church is the sermons. I'm involved in at least one social service or advocacy group in my community. I'm over the age of 50. I voted in the last presidential election.
